Why do the Chinese think that their country liberated Tibet?

The same reason some Germans insist the Poles attacked them to start WW I I. The same reason some Japanese deny that the army and government enslaved women to be comfort women to their soldiers. When people do things that can not be rationalized away they deny it happened or claim something else happened.
