Re: Quilting. Can you help clarify some quilting terms?

I would highly recommend the finger gloves for machine quilting. The ones on the market are cotton so your hands don't sweat and have rubber tips to help you grip the quilt. I tried using everything before they had them on the market and nothing works as well. You are able to move the quilt around with ease. A good thread conditioner is Thread Heaven, it comes in a little blue box. Kind of like a spa for your thread, it has glitter bits and tames those frizzy thread hairs while not leaving any greasy stains on your quilt. Have fun in your cl, you will definitely be ahead of the game for learning the terminology before cl :-)
