Would you forgive her?

Had something very similar happen to me. I realize now that blood does not make a family, it doesn't even make a for a good relationship. I would ignore her because her actions have shown that she does not have your best interest in mind. I know how you feel to have to defend yourself to a family you have known your entire life and should know you better. It's exhausting and demeaning. You feel abandon by the very family that you grew up with. If you friend her you will only be opening the door to more abuse. There are family members that I refuse to have anything to do with to this day and it's been 10 years.
