Skin is uneven during healing?

I recently had a wart-like lesion removed from my face using something called the LAM Probe. It is currently healing and the scab just fell off. However, the skin underneath is still pink and looks uneven. I don't know if it's growing back or it's just loose skin. Does anyone know if this is supposed to happen or if the skin will come back smoothl?
