Creationists: Convince me. What is the single most rational reason why your theory is plausible?
I am not a creationist, but coming up with a rational reason for why we are here as a result of a chain of events beginning with a Big Bang emanating from a super dense m that populated the entire universe requires a fairly substantial leap of faith as well. Even if we were to all agree on the Big Bang, the questions that still remain are: where did that m come from, what was the catalyst for the explosion, why was the empty universe here? The odds of that anything like that happening are incalculable and way beyond that of current human comprehension. Some scientists say that "we don't know", some people give "we don't know" a name: God. Neither side can prove or disprove the other. And at our level of understanding, is there really ANY theory that exists that is entirely plausible? Beats the tar out of me, mankind might never know the answer to this one.
